The Roussos family is a four-member family that for many decades has faithfully followed the tradition of olive groves, olives and olive oil. The olive groves are located on the outskirts of the homonymous settlement of Maroneia. The 2500 trees they grow are located in 12 olive groves and they have an average age of over 350 years with the oldest exceeding 700 years. The fruit of the variety, Maronias olive, is of medium size with a spherical shape. The colour of the fruit is dark violet and yellow-green. An important characteristic is the high content of phenols that contribute to the formation of the excellent aroma.
