Olivenhain

Olivenhain is a small company founded in 2015 in Vienna. I, Paris Priskomatis, am the 3rd generation of a family passionate about working and trading in traditional Greek foods .

My grandfather, Theodoros Priskomatis, born in 1901 in Smixi of Mount Pindos, was a large cheese maker and for many years the owner of the largest and most famous grocery store in the small town of Katerini (near Mount Olympus.

My father Anastasios (Tasos) Priskomatis, born in Katerini in 1939, followed the same path and developed the business into a wholesale business. Its main product was olive oil .

My vision is to use the knowledge acquired over generations to only offer high-quality products from small, traditional producers from Greece .

Finding those exclusive small oil factories that actually still exist in Greece is not just my business, it's my passion.
