The result of a glorious year in the vineyards, marked by alternative extremes, has spent around 10 years in Dom Pérignon’s cellars and is ready to reveal itself and be enjoyed as it should be. After a cold, wet winter, the spring was grey, quite cool and very rainy. The subsequent hot and dry summer – the sunniest since records began in Champagne – benefited the quality of the grapes. The resulting harvest of restrained Pinot Noirs from the Montagne de Reims and sumptuous, elegant Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs was expertly blended to highlight the different characteristics of the grapes and to achieve an optimal balance between full-bodied aromas and acidity.

COLOR: Brilliant gold.
AROMA: Green notes – eucalyptus, mint and vetiver – combine with yellow-orange notes of mirabelles, apricots and orange blossom, together with pepper, cardamom and licorice and end with salty and roasted notes.
TASTE: The mouthfeel is elegant, sophisticated, silky and luxuriously simple, while the finish is dominated by a deep saltiness.
