Casa Rica

The history of Casa Rica begins with the arrival from Germany of Don Walter Lange (merchant) and Benedikto Hiebl (baker) in Asunción, Paraguay, in the twenties. Don Benedikto began as a bricklayer and after several jobs in the Villarrica area he began his modest production of bread and home sales. Don Walter dedicated himself to international trade. With them began a culture of work.

Over the years, Casa Rica has grown until it has one of the most complete wineries in Paraguay, an exclusive bazaar, the best product selections, and delicatessen. In the 1990s, the original Casa Rica location on Aviadores del Chaco Avenue had two extensions to meet the growing demand of its customers, expanding its kitchen, living room, cashier line, and parking lot. All this, exhibited in a differentiated environment, added to its personalized attention, allowed Casa Rica to position itself in the market.
