My name is Pierluigi Presciuttini, and I grew up among olive trees and in my family's olive mill.
I currently manage around 3,000 trees, almost all of which have been rescued from neglect over the last four years. Many cultivars are Canine, many others Frantoio, and others Leccino and Moraiolo.
I see so many of them every day as I wander through the countryside around my city.
My passion for these wonderful plants has driven me to pursue, with dedication and determination, continuous agronomic improvements in olive grove management, from polyconic vase cultivation to tools for indicating the correct harvest period. I always favor sustainable and natural cultivation and avoid the use of harmful chemicals, in the belief that the natural quality of the product must always come first. With the goal of producing an absolutely extraordinary oil, I am constantly searching for abandoned olive groves to reclaim. I am particularly drawn to trees that have been isolated from man for a long time, as they are the best in terms of production quality and rusticity.
